Architects and designers in Nevada have been recommending terrazzo for over a century now. Of course, the initial cost of installation is higher than other floor systems. But once installed, it is the most durable and low-maintenance system by far. In addition, it is a slip-resistant surface and can handle high levels of foot traffic. Terrazzo floor systems are also known for being microbial resistant, inhibiting the growth of fungus and bacteria. All of these reasons may explain why terrazzo flooring is a preferred choice in most public buildings, including airports, stadiums, hospitals, universities, and government facilities.

There is another advantage this floor system has over others. For example, let’s say your concrete floors are damaged, cracked, or discolored. Terrazzo is a resinous system that is 1/4 to 1/2 inches thick. Once we complete the necessary repairs to your floors, the terrazzo flooring system will be installed over your existing concrete.
